Ten Things

November was a month full of fantastic things and I never forget to give thanks for every one of them.  Ten things at the top of my list this month . . .

Moments that are more gorgeous than anyone ever expected, and cherished all the more because of it

Cousins who create their own club and only give Grandma the password to enter

Skype

Helping the kids choose gifts for their family

Spending time with my precious niece, Bridget

Going to the library with The Athlete and seeing him develop a love for books

A suite at the Beverly Wilshire and someone fabulous to share it with

Stuffing, Sweet Potato Casserole and Pecan Pie

God's perfect grace shining in the eyes of my son

Sharing the joyful anticipation of Christmas with a family I adore

God Bless you and yours this Advent season.  Family and fellowship with friends are our most beautiful gifts.

Thanks for your comment today, Kim — it reminded me to stop in and catch up with you and your family. Glad to hear you got some much-appreciated alone time with your hubby (I'm wishing for that lately, too). Your site always reminds me to take stock of all that's good in my world. Thanks for that :)

Your a grandma? I dont think so, you look way to young. I must have misunderstood.

Did you figure out what you missed on my Advent posts? I just decided to post each days activities through Christmas...it officially started Sunday but it's never too late to jump in.

And i have tons of stuff from last year...just look in my archives under christmas and advent, if you are interested.

Hello fellow SITSta! I need your help!

Could you vote for me in Iron Cupcake?

(I am campaigning for votes….because I put a lot of time and detail into my cupcake)

I am currently behind The Baker’s Remix……boo..L

If there is anything I can do for you in the future don’t hesitate to ask! (When I say this I am completely serious!)

Here is the link: http://mamanandgourmand.blogspot.com/2009/11/please-vote-for-me-iron-cupcake.html

I love the diversity, yet sameness, that November thankful lists seem to create. When it comes down to it...we all want the same things. We all cherish the same things.
